the healing process + aftercare

Like every PMU artist says, "Trust the process". I will review the healing process and after care instructions in more detail during your appointment but here are some highlights:

• Everyone Peels. Please reference the image for the emotional rollercoaster during your healing process. It's worth it!!!
• Everyone's healing time varies but on average it can take anywhere from 7-14 days
• Once healed, brows will lighten up to 40% and slightly shrink in size
• On average it only take 2 sessions to create your new brows however...
• Perfect final results after both sessions are not guaranteed since healed results vary from person to person based on your skin type, lifestyle, medications, how closely you follow pre-care instructions and after-care instructions 
• The second session is taken 6-12 weeks after the initial session. Some clients may need additional touch up's depending on how well the skin retained the pigments

Aftercare Expectations:

• Avoid sweaty activities such as exercise for 2 weeks
• Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks
• Avoid swimming in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water for 2 weeks
• Avoid water or long hot showers near the face for 2 weeks
• Avoid sauna's, steam, hot grills, or fryers for 2 weeks
• Avoid sleeping face down for 2 weeks
• Do not put makeup, lotion, facewash, pick, touch, or scratch treated area
• Apply antibiotic ointment
• Use Sterile bandages or other sterile dressing(s) when necessary
